What started out as a nickname for a mountain eagle is really a cover for an insanely rare species. So rare that there is only one known to be in existence. The legend has it that its feces is made of diamonds and jewels and it's feathers made of .999 pure gold. It is so top secret that is is kept and fed in area 51, not even the president can lay his eyes on it. It is ranked above top secret!
What it is
This master piece of an animal is made of gold. it has diamond studied talons, this is a useful adaptation because ,as you probably know, diamonds are the hardest substance on earth. And it can blend into its environment like a chameleon. This eagle has a wingspan that is about the size of an normal eagle. It has also been known to breed with other species of eagles such as an American Bald Eagle. This rare combination is the result of another golden eagle. There for if there are bald eagles there will be gold eagles.
What it eats
Like a regular eagle it feasts on small rodents such as mice and squirrels. It uses it's sharp beak to pick at their prey and it's talons to hold it down. The scary part about this is that it can feast on larger prey such as dear! this species has also been known to prey on humans too! Do you know how president Roosevelt died, old age right? Wrong he was carried from the front yard of his home after presidency to be feasted upon! It also eats killer palatipy and lead fish. It doesn't have any known predators besides humans.
Why its endangered
As we all know gold is a precious metal and is very expensive, so it is poached for its feathers. these poachers are so stupid to hunt it. this is proven to be true because it has feces made of diamonds and other jewels. so if you ever come across a golden eagle don't kill it because if you try you may be eaten, just look for feces. the reason it is beginning to be extinct is that the human population, over the years, are destroying it's population.
Where it lives
The Golden Eagle's natural habitat is Stewartsville NJ, but its breeding grounds are in the Himalayas. yes this sounds extreme but this bird can fly 30,000 miles strait with no breaks. its body weight is .0051 pounds and it is stronger that a horse! in the Himalayas the alpha bird, because they live in pacts, has his mate lay his eggs on Mt. Everest!
